Cookie Policy
Draft for review · Not yet effective
A draft explanation of cookies and similar browser technologies. This is not a verified inventory of tracking technologies deployed on the website.
1. What These Technologies Do
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar technologies can also preserve information between visits. Some technologies support a requested function; others measure usage or support advertising. A technology's purpose, provider and duration determine how it should be described and managed.
2. Proposed Categories
The final policy should list only technologies actually used, grouped by purpose:
- Necessary: functions required to deliver a requested service or protect its security.
- Preferences: choices such as language or display settings, if stored.
- Analytics: measurement of website usage, if enabled.
- Marketing: advertising or audience tracking, if enabled.
3. Consent and Preferences
Where consent is required, optional technologies should remain inactive until a valid choice is made. A live preference control should make it possible to review or withdraw that choice. This draft does not represent that such a consent system is already implemented.
4. Browser Controls
Your browser provides settings to inspect, block and delete cookies and stored site data. Blocking necessary storage may affect functions that depend on it. Deleting local browser data does not necessarily erase information already held by a service provider.
5. Embedded and Third-Party Content
External media, analytics and other integrations can introduce their own data handling. Each integration must be assessed before launch. A link to another website does not mean that its cookies are set by FYFX Capital; the destination's own notice applies when you visit it.
6. Inventory and Changes
The effective policy should provide each technology's name, provider, purpose, category and lifetime, together with a working method to manage choices. The inventory should be reviewed whenever services or integrations change.
