Draft for review · Not yet effective
This draft outlines the proposed handling of personal information in website enquiries and trader or capital partner discussions. It must be checked against the actual services and data flows before becoming an effective privacy notice.
1. Information in Scope
An enquiry or application may involve your name, contact details, chosen role, professional background and information you choose to provide about a strategy or proposed relationship. Trading records may contain personal information and should be limited to what is relevant. Identification documents should only be requested through a separately confirmed, secure process.
2. Purpose of Processing
The proposed purposes are responding to enquiries, assessing strategy fit, conducting appropriate due diligence, administering agreed relationships and protecting systems. Collection notices should explain the purpose at the point of collection. Information should not be used for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis, including consent where required.
3. Current Website Preview
The account and contact forms currently demonstrate the interface without creating an account or sending the entered details. This does not mean that browsing generates no technical records: hosting, security and any external services require a separate review of their logs and data practices.
4. Sharing and International Handling
Any future sharing with service providers, professional advisers or authorities should be limited to a defined purpose and appropriate obligations. Before launch, the notice must identify relevant recipient categories and explain safeguards for information handled outside the place where it was collected.
5. Retention and Security
The proposed approach is to retain information only while needed for the stated purpose or applicable legal and business requirements. Retention periods, access controls, deletion procedures and incident handling must be documented for each live system. No online system can be represented as completely secure.
6. Your Requests
Depending on applicable law, requests may include access, correction or withdrawal of consent. Identity may need to be verified proportionately. Some requests may be subject to lawful limitations or retention requirements. The Data Enquiries page explains the proposed request process; a verified privacy contact must be available before live collection begins.
